Designation : Data Analytics Team Lead

Jason Smith joined the PrimeCare Managers team in 2021 to serve as the Data Analytics team lead. With a Master of Science in Physics with a concentration in Theoretical Biophysics from the University of Melbourne, Jason has worked extensively in data analysis, statistics, and risk management for various NGOs and healthcare agencies.

Jason’s strategic role provides PCM Accountable Care Organization with innovative risk assessment tools, cost-effective reporting, and claims data insights enabling healthcare providers to make better-informed decisions about care delivery, rising risk and identifying candidates for managed care.

Additionally, as the Financial Performance Specialist, Jason provides the ACO with predictive models for cost, quality, and performance throughout the year giving Partners and Participants essential data points that help project expenditures and control costs.

In his spare time, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, including his pet chihuahuas, reading, playing board and card games, and supporting his favorite soccer team, Manchester City, in the Premier League.
